About Me

The two things in my life I want people to know about me are that I'm a mom to 3 fabulous kids. Their dad and I divorced when the kids were 2, 4 and 6 and I was given the task of raising them by myself. Hardest thing I've done in my life, but also the best thing that's ever happened to me. The biggest take away from being a single mom for me was being empowered to be all in all the time.

The second most important part of my life is my career as a nurse. In 2021 I'm working in my 27th year as an RN. My career has included working as a staff nurse and Director of an acute in-patient psychiatric unit; Labor and Delivery Nurse, Nurse Consultant for a developmental disabilities company, School Nurse, bedside nurse in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), Home Health Care nurse in North Omaha; and most recently, I'm a Critical Care Neonatal and Pediatric Transport nurse. I'm so blessed to have my dream job currently of flying in a helicopter and airplane, and transporting kids and babies in ambulances to get them the care they need. 

I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Follicular Lymphoma in May 2021.
